Whilst every effort is made to maintain backward compatibility
|
|
of the LDraw parts library, there is one change in this parts
|
|
release that could have a detrimental effect on existing models.
|
|
If you do not update your own model files they will not render
|
|
as they did prior to this update.
|
|
|
|
The 9V Train wheel holder (2878.dat) was previously released
|
|
with the wheelset included. This was an error due to lack of
|
|
clarity on how to handle composite parts.
|
|
|
|
The 2878.dat part in this update does NOT include the wheelset,
|
|
but a new composite part 2878c01.dat is included. This DOES
|
|
include the wheelset. The wheels are hardcoded in black allowing
|
|
easy modelling of the light grey wheel holders with black wheels.
|
|
|
|
To preserve the previous functionality you must replace any uses
|
|
of 2878.dat in you own models with 2878c01.dat.
|
|
|
|
Please accept the apologies of the LDraw team for this
|
|
inconvenience.
