Added fail delay column in the adhock task table on the admin page,
Added a new column for a delete action for the adhoc tasks on and
Wrote delete_adhoctask.php for delete functionality of adhoc tasks.
Wrote behat test for the delete functionality. Also there was a
logical error in the previous code where it was checking if the task
is due or not and it was just showing Never or ASAP instead of
actual time so fixed that as well.
- Alters existing progress_bar class to support extension
- Adds stored_progress_bar class as child of progress_bar
- Adds webservice to poll stored progress
- Updates database tables
- Bumps version
- Adds unit/behat tests
While this change is not 100% required now, it's good habit
and we are checking for it since Moodle 4.4.
All the changes in this commit have been applied automatically
using the moodle.PHPUnit.TestReturnType sniff and are, exclusively
adding the ": void" return types when missing.
Applied the following changes to various testcase classes:
- Namespaced with component[\level2-API]
- Moved to level2-API subdirectory when required.
- Fixed incorrect use statements with leading backslash.
- Remove file phpdoc block
- Remove MOODLE_INTERNAL if not needed.
- Changed code to point to global scope when needed.
- Fix some relative paths and comments here and there.
- All them passing individually.
- Complete runs passing too.
Special mention to:
- Some fixtures, initially defined in the test files have been
moved to new files in fixtures subdirectory, leaving the unit
test files clearer:
- moodle2_course_format_test.php
- Rename wrong named test:
- baseoptiogroup_test = baseoptigroup_test
Use scheduled_task crontab field verification in
admin/tool/task to unify how Moodle deals with
crontab definition and its verification.
This helps remove duplicated code and fix
crontab definition not allowed in the web form,
but actually was valid.
Updated crontab fields precision on task_scheduled
table to have enough room for the worst case:
all possible different values separated by comma.
The `core\plugininfo\base::is_enabled()` uses three-state logic for its
return value. It can return null as a valid value as per its
documentation. We need to test for the explicit false value in this
case.
To make the attached Behat test able to identify the table, the caption
is added. It seems to be helpful for all users so I leave it displayed
without using the accesshide mechanism.
In the table that lists the scheduled tasks:
1. There are badges to show which components are disabled.
2. The plugin name (e.g. auth_ldap) is shown as well as the
human-readable name (e.g. LDAP server).
3. Where a time column has a non-default value, it is highlighted
and the default is shown.
4. If the fail-delay is non-zero, the cell is highlighted.
4. If you just interacted with a task (looked at or edited the settings,
did Run now, or cleared the fail delay) that row is highlighted,
and scrolled into view when the page loads.
To support this, some of the methods for loading the default tasks
have been extended with an optional argument to leave 'R' as 'R'
rather than replacing with a random number.
Also, mixed into this commit are a bunch of coding style improvements.
Sorry I did not separate them out, but ultimately this makes the
Moodle code better.
The behat for tool_task was no longer working in Clean & More due to the menu changes.
This updates the affected steps on Master only as 49399 was a master only fix.
This test cannot be run on Behat anymore as the "Run now" feature
depends on $CFG->pathtophp. Even if it's set, the task executed via
"Run now" will be executed for the installed site itself and not on the
Behat test site.
